VANILLA CUPCAKES WITH COTTON CANDY AND CHOCOLATEY MARSHMALLOW ICING
I’ve been having cupcake trouble lately… I’m not sure why but they just weren’t coming out well.
Not sure what happened, but man, these cupcakes turned out super great. Great taste AND fluffy!! And yes, on the blue cupcakes there are little bears. My friend made a joke after I showed her all my cupcakes pictures that I was having a cupcake photo shoot. I’m not going to be humble, I think this batch is fucking gorgeous ;)
Also, there are these new icing products out: you buy the vanilla base, then you choose whichever flavour packet you desire. I love that idea!
Brownies with marshmallows!!
I wish I had vanilla icecream to go along with these!
These were made with cream cheese and turned out so fluffy. For decoration, on some I used vanilla christmas chips, or this melted cinnamon icing (from the cupcakes I made). I dipped the cookies in the icing, which they soaked up quite well. I loved those cookies the most, the added cinnamon flavour was great.
Apple crumb pie!
I got the recipe here. This was the christmas dinner dessert, and ‘twas a hit! Then of course, you cannot have any sort of pie without vanilla ice cream :)
wow, I have gotten so lazy with posting on here. That’s pretty bad considering Im on tumblr ALL THE TIME.
I made this cake (from a box) for Julia’s birthday, cause she is great! She turned 20 and then I realized wow, why would I use gr10 (cause it’s greater than gr8, ha get it), when I could use g20. I ended up fixing it, but didn’t take a picture.
Clearly my decorating skills are awesome.
Cinnamon cupcakes and cinnamon buttercream icing!
I recieved a new cupcake recipe book, and it has all these pretty fancy cupcakes. I’m quite excited to try them all out! Also, another friend got my this Wilton cupcake stand (both gifts are totally unrelated too, ha), so I had to use that right away too.
Black and White Cupcakes
+cool sprinkles. Made these for a friend’s going away party. I didn’t even follow a recipe, besides the original vanilla. I had made something like this before, and all you have to do is take a portion of the batter and add a bunch of cocoa powder to it. When you’re pouring the batter into the cups, you can do half/half or more vanilla than chocolate, whatever.
You can even take the same concept, but instead of adding cocoa to the batter, add food colouring. When they bite in, it’s like SURPRISE!
Chocolate chip and coconut cookies & Coffee spice cookies!
So, I baked these cookie this summer for a rugby after game thing. I am always always always so paranoid that if I bake anything for an event or for other people that no one will like what I made and then I’ll have failed and everyone will hate me.
BUT these cookies turned out great, especially the coffee spice ones!
The recipe said it would make 48 cookies… I only ended up with 36 and it’s not because I ate the dough or anything ;)
I love cookie dough! I found a recipe for vegan cookie dough, so you can eat it raw! Definitely going to do that sometime, but I will for sure share with someone.
Definitely a recipe I’m going to keep in repertoire. It’s simple and the two times I made it, it turned out just perfect. It’s pretty sweet, maybe enough so to use as a cupcake base, because Im pretty sure it is just a regular cake base.
The way the strawberries get all cooked is delicious! Top it with some whip cream and vanilla icecream and you’re set. Next time maybe I would blue berries? Or even a mixed berry cake.
